Gary Robinson is a proud native of Cincinnati, Ohio. This is where he discovered his love of acting while attending Walnut Hills High School. But, it wasn't until his post college years that he reconnected with that passion. Ironically, after portraying a high school teacher in a friend’s indie film. He signed with a local Talent Agency. And went on to book numerous regional and national commercials, print work, voiceovers, film and television work. While also appearing on stage in many of Cincinnati’s premiere theatres. And attending classes at Cincinnati’s Tony Award winning Playhouse In The Park.

Gary moved to Los Angeles in the summer of 2005 to pursue a career as a full time working actor. He has studied privately with the multi-talented Debra Wilson of Madtv fame. And taken workshops with Bill Duke, Robi Reed, Phaedra Harris, Kelly Knox and Elizabeth Mestnik to name a few. And has studied improv with Monkey Butler. Gary has appeared on Everybody Hates Chris, Sons And Daughters and was recently cast in a recurring role as Secretary of Homeland Security on season six of ABC’s SCANDAL. He’s also continued his work on stage, originating the role of C.J. Carter in the hilarious play Without Annette. Gary thanks GOD for his talent and the faith to pursue his dream.
